When words are not enough..

“Sometimes words are not enough. There are some circumstances so utterly wretched that I cannot describe them in sentences or paragraphs or even a whole series of books.” – Lemony Snicket

We all have come to the juncture where our emotions are running high and words fail us. Our Sorry could not express the remorse we feel or I love you was just a drop in the ocean of feelings and warmth we have for another person and most of all, there are some experiences that cannot be described in any language or words. Well it’s almost like talking about the ineffable mystery of our soul.

So what do we do when words fail us; We can try explaining again and again or we can let our behaviour and actions speak for themselves. “Actions are louder than words”. If we need to express our gratitude or remorse or we really want to show that we care, then just let the actions do the talking.

Tell them you mean it, even better show them that you really mean it. What our ears cannot hear, our eyes will see and the mind will listen. A little effort on our part can do wonders!!

Besides, there are innumerable experiences that cannot be put into words. Those experiences are tailor made, so you cannot express the same things via the same experience. For those, forget words, forget actions; Just appreciate what is. Be responsible for your words and your actions.

“Actions prove who someone is; Words show who they want to be”
