How to nurture the most important relationship in your life

Hello everyone

In the myriad relationships we have, the most important relationship is the one that we have with ourselves. Ask yourself some basic questions.. Do you take some ALONE time? Do you love and pamper yourself enough? Do you accept your flaws just like your virtues? Are you growing as a person? Do you have goals that YOU have set for yourself, without any external influence?

Be open in your relationship with you

You have to be 100% honest with yourself. There are lot of great things about you and you also have flaws, that you can live with. But, the flaws that become the achilles heel, that are constantly causing you distress or making your life difficult; you need to deal with them.Don’t let them pull you down, make the most of what works for you. You know yourself the best. Be aware of what motivates you, what makes you happy ,what causes your day to spiral downwards and what can you do to make you “MORE CONTENT”.

It’s all about the attitude

Having the right attitude that is attitude to win, love, laugh, challenge yourself does matter a lot. It sets in motion the process and the groundwork to have a wonderful life.

Goals: Weekly – Monthly – annually

With so many things going inside and around us, we need to focus, we need to thin slice. What do I look forward to in this month? How can I achieve it? More importantly..What are the character traits I need to work on to live a more fulfilling life. How do I go past my limitations?

You can share it, only if you have it

“If you are not happy inside, you won’t have anything to give to others”. Love works in the same way too. You need to know, what joy or life or passion really feels like, before you can share it. You may try doing it while you are hollow, but it wears out with time and it leaves us more vulnerable.

Having a good relationship with yourself improves your relationships with others. Remember the safety instructions on airplanes: Put on your oxygen mask before putting it on anyone else.
