Some pains DEMAND to be felt!!!
We all are awry of pain. People will almost do anything to avoid it. But, Pain is inevitable, suffering is an individual’s choice. We cannot avoid pain forever because it is the “Pain” that makes us stronger, it’s the pain that prepares us for a better life and it is pain that gives us a new perspective in life.
Yoga has been the most extraordinary journey for me in all aspects of my life. Just today I heard people describe how their life had to shatter into a million pieces that they to build a new one -a beautiful life for themselves and for the people around them. I asked them, how did you maintain your composure, your serenity and they replied…. It is not about being calm or strong, it is about the transformation that takes place. You may cry, feel like it’s the end of your world but you need to hang on because there is a lesson being taught to you, which you will see in retrospective. Embrace the pain, surrender to it and it will work like a catalyst in your life.
I know, this is easier said than done. But, when you feel that this is your breaking point, melting point, boiling point, REASSURE yourself that something good will come out and if you cannot see it, be assured a better “YOU” will come out of this situation.
So, feel the pain and do what you need to get it out of your life. Pain is a process and you can make it a catalyst that changes you for the better. And always remember:
When Life gives you a lot of PAIN
It also gives you the strength to get through it!!
