“Say you’ll remember me, Standing in a nice dress,
Staring at the sunset, babe, Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you’ll see me again, Even if it’s just in your
I recently heard Taylor Swift’s song “Wildest dreams” and these words caught my attention. And it made me wonder, at different points in our life, we meet different people and we part, when the time comes. We are remembered as we were during our learning curve. Cheerful, Smart, Intelligent, Ambitious, Creative, Gorgeous, Loving, Charming are a few adjectives which leave a good lineage. And they can use adjectives like loony, selfish, haughty, difficult, stubborn or any other disempowering adjective.
So is it in our hands (ALONE) to leave an impression in the others’ mind. I think, it depends on the interaction between those two people, however active or passive. It’s not only about who we were during that period, it also depends on the person who comes in; The kind of impressions they have, the expectations they keep and the energy/mind-set they bring in.
Does this mean, that if we were nice, charming people, there is a chance we might be remembered as ruthless or mean..? I think yes, depending on the other person. Because reputation-opinions are very different from who we are and how we constantly evolve.
The only thing we can do is: be the best we can today and as we grow, we can drop the egos, complexities; However, you may have been perceived, know that there will be people, who will hold you in high regard and remember you fondly.
